GPS Systems and Applications:
Digatal Maps, Digital Cities

12 October 2007, Friday, 7 pm

Mr Rossen Russinov
General Manager
Datecs GIS Center

GPS technology helps to answer many “where is/where are” questions. Putting objects, resources and people on the map in real time gives many exciting new possibilities for new kinds of services and businesses and for better living. Knowing the locations of particular addresses, restaurants, ATMs, parking lots, hotels, banks, etc. is very important for every one of us. Using the Internet on the desktop in the office, the notebook at the airport, the PDA on the streets or the mobile phone on the move, helps us find this information fast. And this is only the first step in map-based services. Do you like to see more? Come to this lecture and you will learn and see more about this new exciting world of opportunities...
