Digital Spaces is a series of public lectures, interactive sessions and an annual exhibition that bring together leading computer and communications technology researchers and developers from Bulgaria and around the world. The aim of this programme is to present cutting-edge, disruptive and interactive digital technologies to the young and curious people in Bulgaria. The programme is tailored to promote new technological developments, to inspire the spirit of innovation, to encourage interaction and active participation, and to stir debate about how technological innovation can change our lives.
Digital Spaces stimulates communication and exchange between Bulgarian and international ‘computer innovators’, as well as the wider understanding of current trends and developments in computer-based innovation.
2007/2008 will be the pilot year of the Digital Spaces programme. However, this programme is planned to continue and evolve well beyond its first year.
